June 16, 2021 Bob is back, burgers are on the grill, and Sydney is happy to have her walking buddy back on the job. Of course, Bob also wants a drive to the Beach Plum for ice cream! The next day I am off to visit my mom for a few days, to do some things around the house for her. Ironically, they include digging up a flower bed and planting flowers and vegetables!! While Bob works from his laptop, I continue to slave away in the “garden”. It is nice to be together again, and we take drives in the evening and work at tidying the house. More plants and more mulch…. look, the pile is getting a little smaller! Meanwhile, the battle continues against chipmunks and carpenter ants, but things are looking greener and better all the time. 🙂
