June 19, 2020 Bob and I started dating virtually (before “virtual” became a major thing) 20 years ago, when he was deployed to Kuwait and I was teaching middle school in Portsmouth, NH. Zoom and MS Teams were definitely not a thing back then, so it was email and a phone call when possible. We got married in NH on this date in 2010. That year we also built a large garage for our increasing stable of German cars, so it was fitting that 10 years later we would find an even bigger garage – appropriately so since the stable had enlarged since then.
Happy Anniversary to us! – the Black Sheep Tower House will be our present to each other for a long time to come…. birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and so on… it will be the gift that keeps on giving 🙂
What we did on June 19th…. drove to Ocean City, New Jersey for a day at the beach! So what if it was 3.5 hours each way, so what if we needed to wear masks on the beach; we love the place, and our favorite Red Raider Combo of Baked Jersey Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese on rye at the Varsity Inn. Perfect!

Happy 10th Anniversary…actually, it’s getting closer to your 11th. Ahh, now I see the connection to NH. That’s almost home to you. I’m a fan of Ocean City, NJ too…except for it being a dry island. I’m actually more of a Cape May fan if I’m honest.
